LynTec's PDS-12 is a Compact, Cost-Effective, Feature-Rich Sequencing Panel With Four, Eight, or 12, 30-amp Single-Pole Latching Panasonic Relays

LENEXA, Kan. — Nov. 18, 2022 — LynTec, a leading manufacturer of innovative electrical power control solutions for professional audio, video, and lighting systems, will debut its new PDS-12 Sequencing Relay Panel in booth 2335 at LDI 2022, Nov. 18-20 in Las Vegas. The PDS-12 panel builds on the reliable power control features of the legacy PDS-10 relay panel — one of the company's most popular products — with a critical redesign that delivers additional cost savings and features.

"For decades, our PDS-10 has been the chosen power sequencing solution for thousands of venues because of its unmatched user convenience," said Mark Bishop, president of LynTec. "Our new sequencing relay panel builds upon the innovation introduced in that panel and adds our latest power control and protection features to make it even easier and more affordable to add a relay-based power sequencer to the project."

LynTec's PDS-12 is a low-cost, feature-rich relay panel with four, eight, or 12, 30-amp single-pole latching Panasonic relays installed in a compact, 1-sqaure-foot NEMA 1R or 3R enclosure.

The new panel features individual step delay between each relay, emergency off by circuit, emergency on for lighting by circuit, as well as under- and over-voltage sensing for brown out and voltage spike protection. It's easy to set up via the LED display and rotary encoder. BACnet IP expandable, it can be added to existing building automation systems — a feature also available with the company's LCP and RPC Power Control solutions.
