The Alpha Communications® model IH102 is flush steel mounting boxes and rings, made of heavy gauge steel, in a galvanized finish.The IH102 is an open design mounting ring, designed to be used in existing sheetrock or panelled walls, where the unit cannot be mounted onto the stud. As a lower cost option on new construction, it can also be nailed or screwed to a mounting stud, before the sheetrock is applied.
