Nashville, Tennessee, June 1, 2011 – One Systems, a leading manufacturer of direct weather loudspeakers, furthered its international acceptance with a recent installation at Steinbock Alm Ski Center in Maria Alm, Austria, a popular local and tourist ski attraction.
Oli.cc of Salzburg, Austria was awarded the contract for the ski center's installation. After consultation with One Systems' German, Austria and Swiss distributor S.E.A. Vertrieb & Consulting Gmbh, Oli.cc selected One Systems' high-quality "Direct Weather" speakers.
The loudspeakers were installed around the center's newly-renovated 4,300 square foot Mountain View outdoor terrace which features stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains. This entertainment space provides guests with ambient music at "Apres-Ski" - level, announcements, as well as other events and productions throughout the year. The installation includes 13 strategically-placed 208CIM speakers, providing optimum output and coverage while being absolutely resistant to the extreme weather conditions in the rugged mountains.
Steinbock's management team clearly stated their requirements for the system: In addition to excellent audio reproduction for music and spoken word, the selected system needed to withstand intense UV exposure as well as the unpredictable weather at 6,000 feet above sea level.
"We have yet to be disappointed in One Systems speakers and our client is very happy with their performance. The weatherproofing of the system and the brilliant voice and music reproduction capabilities are definitely appreciated by our client," comments Christian Batzer of S.E.A. Vertrieb and Consulting.
"This is an ideal application for One Systems products within the Austrian tourist and resort industry," Doug MacCallum, President of One Systems comments. "The Steinbock Alm Ski Center installation confirms our ability to produce high-quality, full-bandwidth audio performance from weather-proof, UV-resistant speaker systems at good prices, which is important to our partners and their customers."
