 November 21, 2011 - RDL is excited to announce that the new RU-AFC2 Stereo Audio Format Converter is now shipping. The RU-AFC2 replaces the popular RU-LA2D Stereo Audio Format Converter. The new RU-AFC2 is a bi-directional, balanced to unbalanced and unbalanced to balanced converter in the popular 1/3 rack width MAX RACK-UP enclosure. The RU-AFC2 includes all of the same features of its predecessor, but improves upon the RU-LA2D by offering dual-led VU metering on each channel, mono sum output and unparalleled audio performance. The RU-AFC2 is engineered for use in broadcast and studio applications, or anywhere a high-quality audio interface is required. The RU-AFC2 features exceptional audio fidelity, low noise (< -100 dB, below -10 dBV), low distortion (< 0.001%) and excellent crosstalk (< -90 dB, 10 Hz to 20 kHz).
